    Verbos para hablar de medios de trasnporte (en contexto)

    • We only drive the convertible at the weekends ( drive= conducir)
      • Solo conducimos el descapotable los fines de semana
    • I’m not very good at parking.(park= aparcar)
      • No soy muy bueno aparcando
    • We went on board at 12 pm. (go on board= embarcar)
      • Embarcamos a las 12pm.
    • He rides his bike in the village. / He cycles in the village. (ride a bike= cycle= montar en bici)
      • Él monta en bici en el pueblo.
    • We usually go everywhere by bus. (go by + transport = ir en + medio de trasnporte)
      • Normalmente vamos a todas partes en autobús.
    Get in/out of
    Utilizamos get in/ out of (subir/bajar de) para hablar de coches o taxis.
    • Please! get in the car, we are late! – ¡Por favor! sube al coche, vamos tarde. 
    • We got out of the taxi at the wrong station. – Bajamos del taxi en la estación incorrecta.
    Get on/ off
    Utilizamos get on/ off (subir/ bajar de) para hablar de los demás medios de trasnporte: autobús, bicicleta, motocicleta, etc.
    • You have to get on the next bus. – Tienes que subir al próximo autobús.
    • He got off the bike to talk to me. – Se bajó de la bici para hablar conmigo.
